Majora's talk at our National Gathering was a breath of fresh air. Her passion for urban revitalization shone through, making complex issues accessible and engaging. Her insights were a catalyst for thought and change. 

We were lucky to learn from her.

70% of attendees rated the overall event met their expectations. And when asked what their favorite experience was, about 40% of respondents said something to the effect of Majora's session.  One lone person listed Majora's session as their least favorite experience. Not sure what that is about, but you always have negative comments with speakers who challenge assumptions.

One participant  wrote "I think it was a wonderful gathering, I loved almost all of my sessions and ESPECIALLY Majora Carter's presentation."

The feedback I continue to receive has been overwhelming, regarding her talk.  So many folks that attended the conference remarked about having her back to Tulsa.  We are also working hard to continue to push the book - including, our only Black bookstore has it on the shelves now!!!
